Hisxservant

 A dark forest, cool with morning dew. The moon teased the sinking horizon, not wanting to give it’s grip quite yet over the silent world. An owl hooted quietly from it’s hidden perch. Not many would dare to stir this early. Bandits roamed the woods, dangerous men who’d slit your throat first and ask questions later to your dying frame. Young Robert knew this just as well as the next man. He was no fool, though many would say differently. His doe-brown eyes narrowed in disgust and focused at a young tree sapling. In his hands a large bow was tense, waiting for his long fingers to release the expectant arrow into his target. S
